Sitting is something we all do. Especially now with computers, desk jobs, commuting, and working from home. The big question I keep hearing is “Is sitting bad for you?” While I can’t answer that for sure I do know that too much and anything can be a bad thing. If you aren’t getting the exercise you need and building strength where you need it the most then the answer could be yes. With proper balance we can mitigate the strains we feel with daily seated work. Proper strength training can set us up to feel good while we work. Although we think of desk work as sedentary we can always add an exercise or two to maintain blood flow and even mass as we work. Check out our article complete with an exercise routine made specifically for those that work on the computer.
