    Hosted by Ashley Stafford

An orthopedic massage therapist specializing in autoimmune conditions and chronic pain management. Ashley is no stranger to chronic illness and the toll it can take on your mind, body, and relationships. Having endometriosis gives her first hand experience with topics that we can discuss together. Tranquil Therapy autoimmune disease meetups started in Philadelphia around 2018 and we are very excited to offer them again! Finding new solutions, new ways of thinking, and new friends has always been the heart of Tranquil Therapy Meetups.  Ashley provides insight from working with various autoimmune diseases through massage, manual therapy, strength training, and mindfulness techniques.

Ashley Stafford is an Orthopedic Massage Therapist specializing in chronic pain and autoimmune conditions since 2010.

    What you can expect

This meetup serves as a place for those with autoimmune diseases and the chronic pain that comes from them. Learning about what works for others could lend insight as to what can work for us. As you know each person is different and two people with the same condition can experience relief with different therapies and modalities. Let’s dive deeper in to how we can heal our bodies, mind, and relationships through discussion and creating community.

Each meeting will have a base topic that everyone votes on (make sure you join the email list!) as well as activity.  For example the first meet up will have the topic “Creating Community” where we discuss what that looks like. An activity could be an introduction circle or even potluck! We keep it simple.

As this group grows we would love to have workshops, talks, and even services at our meetups! Of course everything offered here will remain free so keep that in mind if you are offering anything.
