The most asked for Massage in the area is Philadelphia Deep Tissue massage.
What can I expect from my Philadelphia Deep Tissue Massage?
You can expect firm pressure and a combination of Swedish techniques you are familiar with as well as some Myofascial techniques that will address the deeper muscles of the body. It is also very important to note that no massage should ever be painful and if you are feeling pain please let your therapist know right away. We can only do so much and everyone has a much different pain tolerance. You will feel your muscles being worked and loosen but when you are in pain you tense up creating a holding pattern that will ultimately leave you in the same position you came in with. Aromatherapy may be added with your permission to assist in relaxation and allow you to lose yourself in your treatment.

Please feel free to ask your therapist questions!
I’m an athlete who went to Ashley after a low back injury and have been back for relief due to shoulder pain. She’s has a really great knowledge of anatomy and the way muscles work together and has not only helped me treat my pain through massage but helped me identify patterns that were causing it in the first place.
