Not to be confused with more pressure, as many people do, some areas require the deeper pressure while others need a slow rooted pressure to address the deeper muscles of the area. A common favorite due to the mixture of Swedish Massage Techniques, Myofascial Release, and firm pressure all around this is something anyone can enjoy and melt some stress away. The most asked for Massage in the area is Philadelphia Deep Tissue massage.
What can I expect from my Philadelphia Deep Tissue Massage?
You can expect firm pressure and a combination of Swedish techniques you are familiar with as well as some Myofascial techniques that will address the deeper muscles of the body. It is also very important to note that no massage should ever be painful and if you are feeling pain please let your therapist know right away. We can only do so much and everyone has a much different pain tolerance. You will feel your muscles being worked and loosen but when you are in pain you tense up creating a holding pattern that will ultimately leave you in the same position you came in with. Aromatherapy may be added with your permission to assist in relaxation and allow you to lose yourself in your treatment.

Everyone is different which leaves every treatment different you will discuss what you want out of your massage with your therapist and will be guided throughout the entire process. Please feel free to ask your therapist questions!
Ashley has been an integral part of my healing process since a car accident that resulted in a long thoracic nerve injury put me out of work for 6 months solid (3 on bed rest). When I did get back to work my neck and shoulder pain was often more than I could bear and I had frequent migraines. Ashley worked with me through all of my stages of recovery. She is always very professional and gives great advice on stretches and home care techniques to keep me going between visits. I am now often feeling like I’m completely back on my feet. I am quite sure that her healing energy and know how made a big difference for my recovery. In fact, I own a house cleaning service and the effectiveness of her treatment inspired me to share these techniques with my staff. Ashley came to one of our team meetings prepared with a self care workshop for our team. She even created a YouTube channel with exercises and stretches designed to help our specific needs based off of our typical movements throughout the day. She is very thorough in her explanation of how and why we get out of whack and what we can do to reverse that process. Now, not only does my body work better, so does my business. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her to thank for so much support in that.
